Optimas OP-620 was designed as a budget retail register aimed at taking on the more expensive competitors in this class.

The OP-620 is equipped with a 100 department and 8000 PLU memory while storing the 10,000 line electronic journal. USB scanning is made possible with the on board USB port and also providing PC connectivity for the programming utility. One handy function contained in this cash register is the calculator mode which allows the OP-620 to make calculations without committing them to a transaction. Another one of its great features is the easy programme embedded in the unit making it one of the fastest registers to programme on the fly. The lockable cash drawer houses 4 note holders and 5 coin slots. Various reports available include, full dept and transaction reports, PLU daily and periodical, daily hourly, individual clerk, in drawer, training, department group, cash declaration and PLU dept report. The OP-620 can also be set to password protect the mode switch restricting access to the various operation modes.
